We thought that it would be nice to have a CD to play at our Golden Wedding celebrations next year. I had an audio cassette tape of my dearly loved and sadly missed partner. It was a recording of a Christmas Broadcast for a hospital radio service that he compiled and presented in 1998. Gary Ankin has taken a very tatty, degraded 1960s audio tape on a reel of mine, and transferred it to a CD which involved much delicate handling such as carefully lubricating the ancient tape as it travelled over the tape heads and rollers to avoid it failing that he has done brilliantly.
